I’m thinking if I keep my 6yr old D4 just a couple more years , I will be able to grab a bargain D5 as they seem to be getting a poor press

I'm starting to get itchy feet now and seriously thinking about the facelift RRS. I had one for 3 weeks while one of the turbos was been replaced under warranty and it did drive so nicely........ But I do know I will miss the old girl when she does finally go!! 2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography

I also have itchy feet. Mileage now 86k I have extended the LR warranty while I try and work out what to do. Hopefully not tempting fate but this D4 se tech is the best LR out of the 10+ Ive had. Luckily it was one of the last before AD Blue and the serious problems arising from the changes to emissions software and hardware after the VW scandal.
Currently thinking of keeping longer as D5 does not do it for me on many counts. I like the proper split tail gate which is great for the hound! Also getting too expensive! I was thinking of hanging on for the new defender but suspect it too will be pushed up market with the associated price hike. Keeping a watch on Jim Ratcliffes Projekt Grenadier as this might provide an interesting alternative.
