| Yeovil Landrover and Munros of Oban |

Having had a wheel bearing fail on me last year during my two week holiday in Scotland, guess what... the other side failed this year - again in scotland  . It must be something to do with the midges eating the grease...
I called LRA who promptly sent Munros of Oban (Not a LR bod or even a Yellow van man). Having called LR extended warranty they said just get it done and ask the garage to claim it back  result
D3 went into Munros on Monday lunch time and despite being very busy they took the calliper and disk off and cleaned all the stones, mud and twiggs away from the hub. Went for another test drive and although it was a little better the noises were still there - wheel beering
a replacement from the Glasgow dealer wouldnt arrive until Friday (an we were coming home on Saturday) so a quick call to Nick at Yeovil and the part was in stock and posted out that day for next day deliver. Being on the west coast of Scotland NEXT DAY means the day after 
Anyway, part arrived promptly on Wednesday afternoon, thanks Nick , and was fitted by Munros and D3 ready for collection by Thursday morning
So, big thanks to Yeovil (TheLargeOne) and Munro's.
However, a BIG  to LR Select Warranty who refused to pay the bill saying it wasnt covered. But it wasnt too bad, Munros only charged £60 and I reckon they must have spent 3 hours in total diagnosing, cleaning then changing the W/B
DOWNSIDE - LRA sent me a Citroen C5 as replacement car - what a load of poo... i've still got back ache and i only had it for a couple of days Duncan
