The ATR is a pretty old tyre now, although no doubt still ok. And as Pirelli have the most unreliable stocking methodology, sourcing them and then ensuring replacements are available is a bit of a game.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Geolander are fine. Had mine for about ten months. Quiet on road, no trouble pulling a big trailer loaded with clay traps round the farm.There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.

I have had a set of Yokohama Geolandar G015 A/T tyres for about 18 months on our little Outlander Phev.
They are quiet on tarmac, but have had very little use on wet grass & mud. I would buy the same again.
You might find it to be very helpful, I did - thank-you Asbestross.

Agree about supply, hence my wording. Maybe that’s not a problem in Germany though.
They maybe old but they were by far the best all round tyre for the driving I did in my D3/4’s which was c.25k mile pa and venturing off road at least once week. They were great on road and dealt with all but heavy mud off road off road. Quiet, good mpg and I’d get 50k miles from a set.
If Pirelli are still manufacturing them for some markets and they’re not just old stock, they’d be my number one choice for a D3/4 as they always were. I definitely prefer them to the GG AT3 that I have now (FFRR).
I go off road in my FFRR and for 8 months of the year I have Pirelli All Seasons fitted. You don’t need an AT tyre if you’re not going further off road than gravel tracks. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

An all terrain tire designed for pickups and SUVs, well suited on-road and for light duty off-road conditions. The tire wears well with a 60,000 mile projected tread life based on CR's test. It has a mountain and snowflake symbol indicating it meets winter/snow tire minimum snow traction requirements.
The estimate of tyre life looks about right too, although I would never run my tyres for the ultimate life. I prefer to replace them when down to 3 - 4 mm.
They say these tyres "might have limited distribution" - from a Google search I don't think that's right.

Another vote for the Geolanders - great for all year round use......
Great tyre and great price.
We have them on our Jimny, and would consider them for next tyres on the D4.....
I ran Geolanders on my Freelander 1 and found them to be superb.
My FL2 is on Falken Wildpeaks - they're also an AT design that happens to be TPMSF Winter Rated as a true "all terrain, all season" tyre. They're absolutely brilliant on and off road.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I've been running Geolanders since Feb; good on and off road and better than Duratracs in the wet. Quieter too (as would be expected). Good value too.
