Thinking of taking our hols this year in Yorkshire, any suggestions of a nice caravan site maybe with a pool, we are members of the CC.

As there have been no replies, I guess you are all looking to get out of Yorkshire and not go to visit it. Razz

No we don't want people to come and spoil it Rolling with laughter
But seriously if you are wanting a site with a swimming pool then you are looking at sites on the coast in general and that's not the prettiest of areas in comparison. But there some decent sites near Filey and Whitby. Also have a look at the caravan club site in grassington top side of Skipton. Wharfdale I think it's called. There is a larger site next door that's quite pleasant that has a pool and gym etc. people from the CC site can use it for a fee. Pub adjacent and grassington itself you can walk into and it's cobbled streets etc. Skipton nearby and plenty of walks from the site itself and more within the dales.

Hi,
I am struggling to think of a CL that has had a pool Question

only one I can remember was in north Norfolk Laughing

went to a nice CL just south of Hebden Bridge middle of last year, electric, flat, good views and easy to get to but No pool

and a nice CL at Easingwold I like it as it has a fly fishing lake, you could always go for a swim Shocked

Thumbs Up

No pool but have a look at Middle wood farm at Fylingthorpe nice site short walk over fields to Robin Hoods bay brings you out next to Fish and chip shop and pub at top of slip way no noise after 11pm. Short drive to Whitby or Scarborough ort you could go to Hooks house Farm great view over the bay can be a bit rowdy bank hols time. Do a search on UK camp sites
