Well I have never heard of read anywhere before that a tyres life should not exceed 4 years of age before being changed. Excellent info. Thanks. Thumbs Up

ps. My mum kept a set of tyres on her VW Golf for 21 years (yes that is 21 years)

i tend to change the tyres on my trailers (boat, caravan etc) every 5 years. but that is mostly because they stand in one place for longer periods and increase the risk of perishing. I wish my D3 tyres would last 21 years Shocked

this site is also a good one for tyres (and other stuff) : www.carbibles.co.uk

The guide is comprehensive Thumbs Up ...but it should be noted that it reflects U.S. requirements only and not necessarily EU or elsewhere Wink
