Well the Ford Power Stroke 3.0 definitely has the same bearing sizes as the 2.7:
Nice Ford branded boxes - made in Japan by Federal Mogul:
And from left to right - Old main lower shell / new main lower shell / old main upper shell / new main upper shell
I think the nice 'bronze' colour is an uprated coating. But happy to be corrected on that. The lower main bearing shell also has an anti-rotation tab.
Big end bearings are also the same size.
Just need to do some test fitting now!

Reading this with interest as I have suffered crank shaft failure in my 2015 3.0 TDV6
Engine stripped and awaiting rebuild, I have obtained most of the parts via the usual sources but would be grateful to know if the Ford F150 bearings have worked out?

Jack27,
I have not yet fitted them due to some health issues delaying progress. I may manage to get back on the job next week though (hopefully).

Ford F150 main bearings from a 3.0 do fit a 2.7 and give correct bearing clearances.
