Mine isn't terrible, it's not freezing, just at times I feel the cooler air.

I don't know if mine has the outside temperate problem too, it seems to be about what the BBC Weather App says.

I'm just a stickler for detail and things being right, hence wanting to look into this. The humidity sensor probably will make no difference to this issue or, anything else, but I know I'll end up replacing it at a cost of circa £100 unless I can find a used one. so far, no luck on that one.

I'd like to attack the interior sensor issue, does anyone have a thread with pictures of dismantling that part of the dash and the procedure?

Thanks but I'm told it's not the same on the D4 and the dash has to come out to access it.

Which may well be at least part of the reason it doesn’t work ….

Not sure if its any benefit but if the passenger side dial is set to a lower temp than the driver side on my D4 its always cold on the driver side, if the passenger side is as high or higher the heater works fine

Thanks. Yes mine are always pretty much the same. I believe the handbook day that a temperature difference between the two dials of more than 3 degrees cannot be maintained.

You don't need to remove the dash you access the heater matrix coolant in/out pipes from the engine bay same as the d3. Just have a look see left rear side of engine compartment . You just pop off the hose clips connect flush kit flush matrix reattach hoses ...job done.

D4/D3 suffer the same blocked heater matrix issue and both can be flushed from the engine bay. I am aware its a D4 issue....its nothing special just a D3 dressed up and engine changes Whistle
