I thought it was tied to your email address.
So you would need to go through the change email address process I guess and have the other person on the end of the phone

One of these came with my recently acquired D4. When I plug it in, it powers up, and I'm able to connect to the BT signal. I've set up the account, and when I log in with the app, it takes me to the 'bind' screen. It successfully finds the device and binds it. After that though, the only option is to go back to the login screen. I can't progress into the actual app any further.

I presume I'm not the first with this problem on an IOS device?

Hmm. OK, found that. It says account not bound, even though I'm binding the device to my Autel account immediately before.

Sounds like it might still be bound to the previous owners account perhaps?

I would think so

If you could get the previous owner to login and change the email address to yours
And set an agreed new password you may stand a chance

Yes Hairy, the “licence” is for all land rovers so it doesn’t care which car. Likewise, check if they have the software for your new car?

I asked Autel wether the AP200 will code keys in on my 05 RRS and they say no, wonder if this option has been deleted?

Someone else did that too and got the same answer.

They were successful. But it was a couple of months ago.

There is a video of Chris programming one on here

Just received mine that I ordered on the Autel UK website on Tuesday! great service. Five minutes to register setup and load the software, done a full scan on the car worked a treat and didn’t find anything I didn’t already know……well apart from B1C57-14 unused relay drive which after research is a common code that doesn’t give any grief but it wasn’t picked up by my iCarsoft.

So waiting for a replacement key now but well impressed so far.

Well new key coded in no problem, £14 for new key and £10 to get the blade cut, Autel worked a treat.

Hi just seen this thread and just wanted to know if you, Devon Z, got yours from https://www.autelstore.co.uk/ I am only asking as I did and after Googling Autel Information I think I may have received a Grey import. Apparently these have limited functions and can’t program keys. Hence asking. Thanks.
