can this speaker grille be removed?

can this speaker grille be removed without removing the whole door card? ( generic pic mine is still attached to the car Smile )

if so how?? I tried moving it a bit with my trusty orange plastic spudder but it didn't seem that keen

Nope, if you take the door card off you’ll soo the speakers are screwed into the back of that panel. If it’s the speakers you’re after you need to take the door card off to access. 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

thanks mate, no the grille has a crack in it, I wanted to take it off to do some light plastic welding on the rear.

how hard is it to take the card off? Current........

Removing themes pretty simple, the photo you used actually shows the holes where the screws are you need to remove. Then just use a trim tool to lever round the edges and pull it off. Don’t pull it too far off the door until you look behind, the speaker and door switch cables are pretty short so you’ll need to disconnect them before removing completely
