CD disc cleaner

Will an ordinary cleaner disc work well on the 6 disc unit.
If so any recommendations.

Thanks parky.will get a cleaner disc and hope that will sort the problem.,if not I will try a hard reset.

Cleaned my C/D laser with a cleaning disc fitted. With brushes and used alcohol on them. Fault on mine says invalid disc. No change at all. Did the battery disconnect too, no joy. Is the optical output disconnect relevant to the cd disc not playing? Don’t want the bother of removing the unit to do it if it’s not.
Not that fussed as it still has radio 4 and will connect via aux to my phone music. Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

Finally did the hard reset, seems to have worked, all the pre set stations are still there had to reset the clock. Cleaned the CD with proper disk that now seems ok.
Hopefully that is the problem sorted .I will keep you Informed, thanks for the help and advice..
