Not sure about fuel filter, but cambelt replacement (in UK) is 105,000miles, or presumably 7 years in service, whichever comes first, as is another belt (hp fuel pump I believe) at back of engine, both absolute swines to get access to. Owners can expect MONUMENTAL labour charges for these ( if they keep them that long). Aux drive belt I would think may be replaced at shorter intervals or may be 'on condition', ie not replaced unless deemed necessary,(so a stealer would probably want to replace it quite regularly then really).

Surprise 'n' delight moment: I had no idea that a pollen filter is fitted! Shouldn't that also keep out diesel particulates from smelly buses? DGRR

Has anyone on the forum had the cam belt (s) changed yet? What was the cost?

My S model has a pollen filter, catches central Australian red dust well. Schedule is to replace every 24K km, every 2nd service. Drop the glove box and the filter slot is visible, easy to remove and refit and can be blown off with compressed air, I say blown off because it would reduce the filters capability if you blew compressed air back through the filter.

Not yet but I queried my sealer last time I was in and they were quoting labour times of 3.4hrs and 1.5hrs for the two belts. Lots of stuff to remove and put back but no engine removal or body lifting required according to them... Cheers

Ianv,
How do you drop the glove box to gain access to the pollen filter,
It would seem you live just down the road from me, I live between Hall and Murrumbateman.

when you drop the lower glove box you need to squeeze the two black hinges at the top where they enter the facia bit. open up the glove box and you will see what I mean. they need a fair squeeze to get them out. I'm sure it's in the manual somewhere. look under accessing fuses in the manual.

Rob,
Suspect I regularly see your vehicle at home between house and stables on left just after passing Hall outbound.
Catweasel describes the glovebox drop correctly.
All the best
