I have used vinegar to soak small hand tools, etc. but find that some rust protection is required straight away or it rusts again.LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

I think there's a good reason Ed dunked it in plenty of oil. Every process that removes all of the surface protection/coating prepares the surface for another attack. But a good video, always interesting to see Ed at work!
