Hello guys! I’m trying to find the cheapest way to edit the CCF on my disco3, like the rear camera enable. Currently I own a cheap sdd mongoose cable but I don’t know if someone managed to successfully edit it that way. The iidtool and nanocom seems a little bit out of my budget just for that. Have you tried anything else? If I’m going to hell, I’m going in a Land Rover!

Iid is the most cost effective long term, or as DM says, pay someone to do it, that’ll be cheap enough
Cheers

Yupp, or someone with just an IID and willing to help you out..
You buy an extra unlock code from GAP, and he/she can help you..
BUT since every one with an IID invested €500 themselves allready in such an apparatus i presume most of them want a fee for the work....
And you will have requests more often, i am quite sure...
My advice..
Think in longterms.... invest in a IID yourself.... it will safe you a lot of money in a few years... believe me... Best regards
Harold

Is it a genuine LR rear camera and cabling or is it an aftermarket that you are or have installed. My after market one just plugged in to my replacement 2 din Android radio/nav unit and works fine.

Agree, bite the bullet and buy an IID. It'll pay for itself many times over and always have value when you sell it. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
Sold Volvo XC90 R-Design (known as Basil)
Sold - D4 HSE (Known as Gerty)
No longer the Old Buses original owner
231,000 miles and counting
05 S manual owned from March 2005
D4 Face lifted
Still original injectors and turbo
V8 Front brakes
BAS Remap, Allisport Intercooler and deCat
EGRs blanked
T-Max split charge
Hanibal Expeedition rack
Prospeed ladder
Duratrac tyres
IID BT
BAS FBH control

Doesnt the cheap mongoose allow you to upload the edited ccf files in the engineering mode? Regards

Buy a second hand Iid tool, do what you want to do and sell it on, only problem is you won't want to part with it It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
