Anyone in South East OZ seen the Comet tonight? I am located in South Gippsland and it is SE from me - about 15o-20o above the horizon.

best viewing was the weekend just gone apparently and true to form, it was cloudy and we had a bit of rain. very windy when I took the pic and tripod was getting blown aound, so a bit blurry.

That'll be it...I didn't hear anything about it until a neighbouring (fire) brigade responded to a fire call - “fire glow on the horizon” – called into HQ and asked for more hose to get to the fire Shocked

I was out camping last weekend when that thing went over.... i told every one that it was only the sun reflecting off the fusleage of a jumbo ( i know boats) Embarassed
