Hello, i,ve stumbled upon a D4 
It wasnt intentional i just love the BALI Blue 
Anyway, the vehicle in question has everything i need except Cruise Control ! ?
Not sure why it doesent but the question is can i add it IF the deal is done ? i know its a matter of enabling it and adding the buttons on a D3 but is it the same on a D3 ?

My D3 was just a question of adding the switches, nothing needed activating, I've done the same in my MY12 D4 but the cruise needs activating, a trip to someone with a MV Faultmate or an Autologic to activate it as I've been told Landrover can't activate it.

I'm new in this forum. I own a D4 my2012 and I have the same problem.
I have install the switches but i can't activate it.
is it posible to activa te with the autologic? and iif it posible how can i do that.

Has anyone managed to answer this question?
I know it's easy on a D2 as I've done it, two switches & problem solved.
Have been been offered an upgraded steering wheel (wood & switches) for my D4, if I can use the cruise control then it makes it very tempting as my GS does not have many toys! Nick

On my 2006MY D3 I needed the steering switches AND activation via Autologic or Faultmate.
Works perfectly and I love it on longer overland trips. Dennis

D4 MY2012 CCF edit can't be done at the moment as the software is still in the testing phase, but yes it can be done when we get the software released for FM.

If it doesn't work automatically when the new switches are fitted you may need someone with a Dealer tool but the MY12 software for the Faultmate will be along shortly I'd expect. In short it can be done. Club Exped trailer

No bud D4 MY2010 can be done now, I , Wiggs & goeff. are all waiting for D4 MY2012 software as there are a few customers waiting for enablements/upgrades

The switches are on, Autologic says it's enabled but it won't work!!!!
Having been supplied with the switches by TLO I had them fiited today by Berkshire Land Rover. Some pf you may be aware of them, well known company, make custon defenders (they have an awesome 130 dble cab pick-up in their showroom currently - yours for a trifle under £130,000 ...... yes that is a 6 figure price tag for a Defender!), not your average fly by night company, they know LR's.
After much head scratching & many discussions with Autologic everybody is confused. The computer says CC is enabled, the switches light up ........ but nothing happens  
Anybody got any suggestions?
