D3 Towbar Wiring - no feed for sidelights

Having a bit of a mare - I've bought a 2nd hand trailer which I plugged in to check the lights etc worked....
Initially they worked!
But now the sidelights don't work.....

I've checked the 10amp trailer sidelight fuse on the fuseboard below the glovebox, which is intact.

I have also checked the two 'sided' 5amp fuses in the fuse panel behind the left hand rear panel in the boot, which also look to be intact....but there is still no power to either of the sidelight pins in the 12N socket in the bumper (I'm assuming LR use the ISO wiring scheme, where pin 3 (white) is the earth return, pin 5 (brown) is tail lights RHS, and pin 7 (black) is tail light LHS)

No power to either tail light pin!

Is there another fuse in the trailer tail light circuits hiding somewhere that I have missed??
(the tail lights on the car ARE working btw!)
Anyone got any 'bright' Rolling Eyes ideas on what the issue might be??

Any assistance gratefully received - although the assistance that solves the issue will be very welcome, 'cos I'm Censored off with it now!

Ta muchly in advance for any input that helps. Thumbs Up
If it has TIT's or WHEEL's it will cause you problems!! Wink

You need a voltage tester or 12v test lamp.

See there is power at the 5A fuses and ground (outer ring of power socket)

If not, check behind glovebox

I thought the fuses for the trailer wiring are behind the left hand panel in the boot?

^^^ aja4x4 is correct, they are behind a panel in the left hand side of the boot
Do you have power to the 5a fuse in the rear LH panel in the boot?

Not questioning your abilities in any way but you did have the cars lights on when you tested the pins on the socket ? Exclamation

It is possible that you have a loose or corroded connection in the socket . or damaged cable but that seem less likely because they are usually out of the way tucked up into the bumper area.
