| D4 2011 HSE SDV6 245 not showing on Compare the Market ?? |

Hi,
Insurance time and I'm trying to get quotes for my D4 2011 HSE SDV6 245ps.... and I cant find it on the drop down menu's of the various online insurance websites. I can see D4 2011 GS SDV6 245 and D4 2011 HSE SDV6 255 but not my vehicle. I'm with Admiral at the moment and they don't have it listed on their system either. My v5C has it correctly identified.
Confused.... ??? any advice... cheers,

Same with Privilege and Direct Line.
I spent an hour on the phone with Privilege; we then got the underwriter who wouldn't recognize it. I even got a letter from Land Rover confirming it was the HSE SDV6 245, but underwriter didn't want to know if it wasn't on the database.
In the end I think I picked the 255 but got a note added saying it was the 245. Not ideal.
I'd talk to the site sponsor who offers insurance - they seem flexible and some are saying their prices are good.

Whats annoying is before I swapped its reg plate over to it's current personal one, it was showing as a 245ps.... now its gone to 255ps
.."computer say no...."

Just put in your old plate, get insurance quote and reference number, then phone them up, get them to call up the quote and then give them the newer number plate.

Yep - you'd think it would be easy as that...but as the current plate isnt on the system with the correct details...computer say no again.. cheers,

I've had similar issues. Mine is listed on the V5 as a 2011 Discovery 4 SDV6 LE Landmark. If it doesn't appear on their list I often have trouble getting a quote.
I know they are extremely rare but really...

Admiral have got back to me - they have listed my D4 as "DISCOVERY HSE V6 TD" on the Docs with a email on its was stating its a 245ps and not a 255.
...add £53 off bringing the premium down to £321  cheers,
