| Discovery 4 Engine Failure options |

Hi all,
Firstly, I’m new to this forum so hope I’m posting in the right place, apologies if not!
I have a discovery 4, with the classic snapped crankshaft issue. Now replacement of the engine DIY isn’t an issue as I used to work for LR and have done numerous changes myself. What I’m interested in is the best place to source an engine for this from the aftermarket. Couple of companies I have seen that look reasonable are NWS and GND motors, had anyone had any prior experience with either company?
I actually do have a crankshaft that I was planning to fit to the engine, but where the crank has snapped it has pushed the mains forwards/backwards to the extent it has dislodged the oil pump, so unfortunately the block will not be salvageable.
Does anyone know if there is a supplier that offers a short engine only option, struggling to find any online and I’m not overly keen on fitting a second hand engine, potentially suffering the same fate shortly after.
Any help on suppliers would be much appreciated.

Wow, thanks I’d found stuff previously (before signing up here) that looked fairly positive, so very helpful!
GND motors I was concerned maybe a different trading name of global engines etc, obviously lots of horror stories available where that’s concerned!
I shall drop oval autos a line.

A little bit further away but Mike Park (aka Disco_Mikey) of MMP in Dundee also does grand job and is well respected on the forum. I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
