What’s the issue when the OBD port can be reached through a broken window?
I think the issue is that it’s possible to convince the car that there is a new key.

Yes, the issue is that once obd connectivity is made a new key can be programmed making the car vastly easier to move on and therefore more desirable. I believe other trickery can be done with obd access making it vulnerable even without coding a new key.

I just pull the trim off and unclip the dummy from the real OBD that’s hidden away behind the trim. 2 minutes. The dummy has a live feed so anything plugged into it looks like it’s working but is unable to actually read anything. It’s just a deterrent. Handy if you want to retain the position of the real OBD for garage visits etc as you can easily just clip it back in.

Replaced the driver's side windscreen washer unit on my D4.

I need to go for a lie down now.....

Just taken the old girl for four-wheel alignment.
Had a failed MOT on tie rod ends and worn upper arm bushes, so replaced the lot with parts from AF and had to get the alignment done.
All good for now 2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)

Way too much time on my hands after the nipper goes to bed and wife starts studying.
Sorting out the garage, painted the floor to keep the dust down and decided it needed a little something so out came the small brush and a pot of calliper paint

Bought a load of stuff I don't really NEED... but very nice to have. Upper boot basket, fixed towbar, boot mat. Still trying to restore the status quo since my 2012 D4 was stolen. Thanks to nigethecat for the bots and bobs and the bacon butty.
