If there's no leak I'd say you've found the problem Thumbs Up

Your retailer won't be long in realising he's got a problem too Laughing

Just been out and driven it until the suspension light came on, and these were the codes.

Well you clearly have some injector issues, but as for the suspension either you have a leak or the compressor is shot.

Check for leaks, it should be fairly obvious if the leak is bad.(live values are your friend!) Alternatively, rebuild your old Hitachi unit and return the replacement.

You'll need to deal with that injector problem too, best not to let it drag on!

I didn’t even know I had an injector problem. It’s not a code that’s come up before lol.

Hopefully it’s not a bad one!

Which live views should I be looking at?

Is the battery fully charged? Poor starting voltage will throw all sorts of electrical issues and an engine dtc being triggered may be affecting the run time of the compressor.

As for the "Live values" you need to watch the control parameters and see exactly what is going on.
i.e. Exh valve opening and closing 100%. Reservoir valve opening and closing 100%. Voltages for the compressor 13.7v or above and the reservoir/exh valves 4.9v
Gallery pressure (1780kPa) when full! and drops back to about 230kPa when the valve closes.

The motor temp to begin with is usually similar the ambient temperature, so it shouldn't normally rise much more above that even after filling the reservoir. Anything above +5°C of the ambient temp I'd seriously question and is a sign of overrunning/burnout. This can be confirmed by the compressor temperature which after filling from empty can vary between 35°C and 85°C but normal operation shouldn't be much above around 70°C. If you are approaching 100°C or above there is something not right and you have a leak or faulty compressor causing overrunning!

These are just base line values to give you some idea what's happening when the data is taken collectively, or, if something individual is clearly amiss.

The other values can be looked at once you are happy the base line operation of the components are correct. Don't forget though, a leak will seriously erode the operating values Thumbs Up

There is one caveat I forgot to mention, and that is the accuracy of the "live values" given the fitment of an aftermarket compressor!

On that I can't offer any advice regarding it's relevance or otherwise.(just bear it in mind!)

Haha, cheers.

I know the front and middle valve blocks are good as I swapped them off our other D3 (this current one is a project vehicle that I’m trying to make work as cheap as possible)

I think I might replace the tank anyway as it’s 16 years old and they’re not exactly known for their longevity lol

That will rule out a bit more Smile
