Has anybody got one of these?
I took out a three year one when I bought my D3 off them last May (it's an 07). Unlimited mileage and claims.
Well in the last year and a bit I've needed it!!  The car has easily had around £3K in claims.
Now I've a front diff failure, EGR and wheel bearing. The dealer the car is at have submitted all three (though I'd be amazed if they paid out on the wheel bearing as I can see them arguing that as wear and tear).
However as it's over a certain amount it's been referred to Hartwells...who have sat on it for A WHOLE WEEK. How can I move this process along? I keep ringing Car Care Plan who it's via and they just keep saying they are waiting to hear from Hartwell. Surely this is unacceptable? *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

You are very lucky good warranty but Hartwells dropped it in march i think because it was costed wrong someone up stairs cocked up so they will only honour existing ones till it runs out.

Might be worth going along to Hartwells and finding out who the warranty administrator is, and asking them, or the dealer principle, very nicely to move it along?
I have a similar warranty bought from a different dealer chain but also under-written by car-care-plan. They've been very fair and have now covered both front wheel bearings, and an EGR valve, as well as a long list of other bits but not suspension bushes and balljoints which I'm happy to accept are wear and tear items on a D3.

So a fifth call to Car Care Plan today and they said they were going to esculate it to an account manager as I've now been waiting 10 days (!!!!) and they feel I have a justifiable complaint.
In the interim I write a formal complaint to Hartwells main complaint area in customer services. Basically I say I've been waiting an unreasonable amount of time and I will hire a Discovery at their expense if I don't get a reply today, plus damages for lost business (I rely on the car for my business which is off road environmental sampling).
One hour later, they agreed to authorise the claims. Oh and we're sorry it's due to a change in our procedures.
Whoopee do dah. But at least it'll get fixed now.  *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

I am pleased they covered everything including the wheel bearing! But 10 days to authorise it was taking the pish a bit. *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

How weird,
I have a Hartwell warranty unlimited mileage also..... And an 07 HSE....
I have had suspension bushes,arms, wheel bearings and ECU all done..... ( I am also trying for a Torque Convertor)
But they still have the car because there seems now to be a suspension fault that is relating to the works done. It has been with them for 2 weeks now and now its off to Landrover direct?????
My experience (still ongoing) is that it depends on the garage!!!
Oh and another weird thing is I am also in the business of environmental sampling.........

What sampling then. 
I am pleased with the car, for the first time in about 6 months it's behaving like it should.
Probably have jinxed it now!
Best thing I ever did was getting a three year warranty on it, must have had £5K alone in the first 18 months. *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

Well I intend on keeping the car the full three years I think, though I have to say the front diff was a noisy bearing and apparently they don't normally cover stuff until it actually fails so I can't complain.
Air sampling btw, so not that similar, just outside. *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68
