Heated Steering wheel snag

I fitted a 2016 heated steering wheel to my 16 SE Tech. When i went to update the CCF via BT IID, I get ECO not availble on the dash, and U0447-00 (2F) Invalid data received from gateway A fault. If I revert the CCF the fault goes away.

Bit of an odd one, any ideas gratefully acepted!

What did the wheel come off, is it a D4 wheel ?.

yup, off a D4, with the correct switch packs... all functions on the steering wheel work as they should.

When I fitted my 2015 heated wheel to my 2014 car it worked straight away with a new squib.

From memory I think you might need to change things in the CCF file for the ladder settings, I seem to remember that in the early days some cars needed this setting changed.. I think it was a Blackbox Solution post, do a search for it.
