Hi all ,
Over the weekend I started to hear a noisy grind when the engine was turned on and a few revs were applied, I got in touch with AA and they said it would be wise to take it to a garage , it sounds like the dreaded crank issue, could anyone recommend a garage in Surrey that would look at it and any idea on costs as it hasn’t yet exploded, appreciate I might have it wrong and it might be oil pump etc ,, it had service last year / belts done on 104k miles we have the LR select extended warranty

You need to go through the “extended warranty” to make sure it covers the engine first! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
