This for me is my main issue with my wonderful Discovery 4...
I've seen a few videos of the Tesla style but that looks a bit "dodgy" and also from what I see you can't control the main original nav properly.
Does anyone make an upgrade that sits in the original space but that provide modern infotainment plus still allows access to the original menus etc?
I'm hoping to keep the motor running for a while longer and be lovely to have some modern capabilities.

I’ve changed my thinking on this based on the fact that audio/video technology is always changing.
And the built in systems will always lag… as they are built in.
I don’t want to hear whatever movie they are playing in the back, when I’m driving. (nor the music sometimes, lol)
So, the solution is simple, mount their ipads to to headrests and use the headphones. Everyone is happy. 2015 LR4 HSE Lux Aintree Green

+1 for Clive fitting Apple Carplay... it's in my D4 and the best mod I've made... I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Just to add to the votes so far - speak to Clive at CDS. He's a pleasure to chat with, does a spot on job with an attention to detail and is a mine of information.
He fitted Apple Carplay for my MY14 and it's solved arguably the only part of the car which showed it's age. recommended without hesitation!
