Language Change

Does anyone know how I can change the language in my D3 ? Currently in French and would like some memories of home on the D3 display.

PS: You guys that complain about your dealers have it easy ! Although mine is good my French is so terrible and most service visits end up with drawings being scribbled on bits of paper so we can understand each other, in the end it works.......

I suppose that you are talking about the Navigation system voice ?

If that is the case, perusing your copy of the navigation system handbook around page 10, should give you an answer...

For the message board on the dash center (But I don't see the point in switching to non-metric units when you live in a metric country...), then it should be around page 95 of your owner handbook...

Voilà, voilà... Wink

Kms are OK (ish) if you live in enemy territory Wink , but l/100 km just means bu99er all I'm afraid! Luckily the MC is happy to oblige, even if all the other indications are metric Very Happy

I mean't MC really, I must try harder not to use MS!

Makes more sense to me than the MPG... Wink

At least with a full tank I know directcly how many kms I am supposed to do and the pump, in France, are in Liters not Gallon... But I can understand that it needs getting used to.

I hope that the answers given previously were correct...

Dunno if they were - For the Message Centre I don't remember seeing anything in the manual, but found it in the settings menu.

BTW pumps have been in litres in the UK since about the 70s, but mpg still makes more sense to (most of) us, even if you do have to do some maths!

Worth keeping to maintain the illusion of British eccentricity.

Slight grammatical correction: "Looked nice" Wink

Not so good with all the extra ventilation it had gained over the years though!

Not ours, which definitely does NOT look new. The car was still very popular with people over here though.

Message Center language can be changed by dealer only (they changed it on my car from German to English).
