map update

hi everyone. just been on youtube and i believe you can do a full map update on the origiinal system.
anyone ever done it and any links? the one i found was (here updates). that is what it is called. done by usb

To be honest its a waste of time and certainly money the best from HERE will be 2yrs out of date when you load it ,updated mine once and never again. . your phone will always have more up to date mapping and for some apps its dynamic as in Waze.

Just to add HERE are the official OEM supplier of mapping data on your system just check your system as I dont believe your age of vehicle can be updated by USB as you need the later system with the larger screen. If not USB you will need to update via disc and I really doubt they will be that current.

Just checked for you the last available mapping was from 2019 indeed the same mapping I updated back in 2020 and £169 Rolling with laughter

Waze is definitely the answer - saved me three detours for blocked roads on a 15 mile trip yesterday. Two floods, and trees being felled/cleared.

on a similar note i have a 2015 D4 and when i turn volume up I don't get any indication of percentage like 15 or 30 nothing. is their an update for this as i have seen some with a volume button come up on the screen when adjusted
