Passenger wing mirror 2015 HSE

Today I swapped out my broken passenger wing mirror - 2015 HSE LUX - on inspection of the wiring connector







the new unit only has 6 wires and the old until around 11. What am I now missing?! Reading other posts, is it only the memory function? What are the specific model numbers on the mirrors as I cannot see any differences online.

On further reading, is the pink cable for the power fold. Has the new mirror I bought not got power fold?!? I’m unable to test this aspect today. Very frustrating.

Confirmed. Bought one without powerfold. Naively I thought all the 2015 sdv6 had powerfold. I need to look for one with the 10 wires including the pink. Not just the 6/7 wires.

What is broken on the existing mirror?

If you aren't able to return the one that is the wrong spec, the components and loom can be swapped over. Must stop buying shiny toys....

The original was smashed to bits. I do see that the motor is there intact in its wiring. I wonder if I can extract the motor into the new housing. Are you saying the moulding is the same?
