i did notice on the bottom of the mirrors , u can see the small lines and thought maybe that's where a light went

can see it's roughly the same size of the back interior side lights by the third row

also saw the lines for a lamp on the door bottom

Some Land Rover models do come with Land Rover puddle lights in the door mirrors, but it seems to depend on the specific model and market. In some cases, these lights are standard in higher trims or part of an optional package. If your vehicle doesn't have them, it might be due to regional differences or trim level specifications.
