Make sure its reported before the warranty expires, then if its not resolved, the claim persists out of warranty. They still have to fix it.

If it occurs again, insist that the dealer gets the 'LR regional tech' involved

Calling LRA will help because there is independent documentation of the fault and the circumstances in which it occured, this is fed back to LR directly rather than the 'sanitised' version the dealers may want to provide

its complicated.....
There are several modules involved, the CJB is the 'hub' which then activates the relevant security protocols across various systems

frequency is fixed (a regulated but licence free range) additional keys can be added but I think the problem is internal communications, not external
It's also possible that the system 'locked out' after repeated attempts to code scan your D3...

Having a nightmare with this one its me against the stealers and i feel like there winning.Had the car in the stealers all last week and on thursday the car finally locked them out there solution re programme the key and there you go all fixed.is it come sunday morning locked out had to call out LRA who gave me a demo on using the passenger override dont like having to force the lock that much to open the door. but it worked any way with that i drove to my destination and the car was back to normal key working again.then monday went to drop the car into the stealers and the remote wont work again used the manual override and made it to the garage and it was not working when i made it there.
Spoke to them today and they said until it faults again they wont fix it but no one knows when that will be and because the veihcle is covered under the extended warranty like that should make a difference it does not even cover a diagnostic check so unless i want to pay for it myself i have to leave the car there till it faults.
someone please help me this is driving me mad !!!
