If it is possible to do what you are trying to do, and I have no idea if it is, I suspect that you will need to get your "power signal" to the foldback module, which sits between the switch and the foldback motors. The module is permanently powered, and to get the mirrors to fold you will need to create a "ground" signal, not a "positive" signal.

Its basicaly a link between 2 pins each time you make the link or break the link the powerfold mirrors work .Yes it would be easier to connect a switched neg into the link ..but bearing in mind the car is neg earthed ,most of the neg's are negative all the time.Have tryed it connected to puddle lamps ,but obviously when you open a door your mirrors fold in /out (depending on were they last were).

I suspect that the only way you will get this to work properly is to get a spliced connection into the feed into the foldback module - which mimics the depression of the switch. This is a negative feed.
If you take the feed from another circuit, chances are that you mirrors will fold and unfold when you don't want them to. Best chance of making this work is to take the feed from the CJB - where the lock control comes from in the first place.

Ok , Having another play ...
Connected a wire from the "superlock relay" as i presumed that would only work when the remote is pressed (no need for superlock when your driving)
Anyway works fine locking and unlocking with the remote.Mirrors fold in and out.But (and a big but) if i press the unlock buton on the dash the mirrors move, but not if i press the lock button on the dash. Also i lost all manual use of the powerfold switch.
Ah well i will have another look at the wiring diagram.Land rover don't make it easy to get to to any terminals near the fuse box..
Fair few cuts and grazes so far.G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Info on speakers.
Main speaker in door fits into a adapter plate and is held on by 4 screws. The speaker is 6 1/2" across.
The adapter plate is 35mm wide.
The tweeter is fitted into the door cover ( you cannot remove the speaker grill part seperatly) and is held in by 3 clips.
The tweeter holder will only take a tweeter of 35mm across...unless you wanted to just stick the tweeter behind the grill without the holder.
Details on the tweeter
Hope this helpsG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

When you view your pic in your gallery, there's a list of info underneath (like description, search words etc). The last of these is the url of the pic, with the image tag included.Disco 5 HSE Lux
