removing radiator (tools for fan?)

I am going to attempt to replace my AC condenser next week and watching various youtube clips suggests tools I may or may not need.

For my 2006 LR3, what wrench(es) do I need to remove the fan? I am confused if I need this thing or not for my model:

Is the 4.4 V8 fan the same as the TDV6 unit ? I have the same type of set as Hardware, essentially a 36 mm ? spanner, and another with appropriate cut out/holes in, to hold the drive hub with. This works (on a TDV6), if you fit them both, and give the spanner a whack ( clockwise to undo) with a big hide faced mallet or similar.

LR apparently only do 2 nut sizes for the fan ... the double ended one does both.

Thumbs Up Just measured the spanner open ends, 32mm and 36mm. Endeavour can you measure the fan nut, to see if these will fit ?

You will need a 36 mm wrench for the bolt nut on the viscous fan. The special tool just locks the bolts on the water pump in place. You don’t need it if you can lock the bolts with something else... Remember - righty loosey.

(I measured this yesterday on my MY05 D3 V8 )

I removed the bumper and crash bar and did it from the front.

The torx bolts on the crash bar were tight/siezed
