Who needs an instruction manual when this forum exists, super quick fix to replace the D4 battery, as a side has anyone managed to source replacement D4 fob "shell only", a previous owner wasn't so careful opening the fob and has broken the casing.
TIA.
EDIT, I just had a look online and the fob is available readily from the normal amazon, ebay outlets.
Roughly a tenner.

Replacing the outer casing is easy enough, buy the genuine part - you will need a soldering iron or something to melt the two plastic legs that the PCB sits on and keep the pcb secure - everything is simple enoughMust stop buying shiny toys....

Problem isn't replacing the battery, it's getting the battery out of its effing packaging without puncturing it or your fingers.2014 - D4 2010 HSE Nara Bronze
