Sblocco cambio automatico rumoroso

grazie Confused

It's probably the locking solenoid that stops you moving from park without foot on brake. It's normal.

Google translate:

Title: Noisy automatic gearbox release

Good morning everyone, I own a 2004 D3, with 190,000 km, recently when I pressed the brake pedal to unlock the automatic gearbox I heard a noise, as if something was loose, the noise comes right next to the gear knob..
Has anyone had the same problem...
thanks Confused

It will do it in both Park and Neutral if it’s like my D4. Touch the brake pedal and there’s a sort of “click”.

Agreed, completely normal, as John says it is a locking mechanism that stops you from moving out of Park or Neutral without your foot on the footbrake.

Not a problem, it is a design / safety feature.

I suspect OP has noticed a change in the sound ? Mine's a pronounced "click" but I'd never describe it as something coming loose ?
