Won’t a long flat blade screwdriver allow you to get bettween the plastics and slightly pry apart, while you pull window up

Great it’s dry , may i plse ask have u checked the green wire modification as if there’s a bad connection in these wires can cause the central locking not to work

Here u go, ref the link

https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/central-loc...reen+wires

Plus when u had the battery disconnected did u do a hard reset as in after disconnecting both battery leads u touched leads together making sire they never touched the battery

Hard reset link details

https://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/Hard_Reset

Hope this helps u

Hmmmmm

Hard start I’ll try later

And my other fob. And with card behind the battery.

Sunday I sprayed under chassis sealant. But I’m sure it still worked after that. Praying the spray hasn’t damaged a wire?!

Also winch was disconnected yesterday but surely that wouldn’t make a difference.

This green wire thing... I’ll try that too in left side of car under door trim

Did you wait for the car to go to sleep before disconnecting the battery? It's possible you may have spiked an ECU if you didnt

Did you open the bonnet, shut all the doors and wait until the park brake light goes out on the dash before disconnecting the battery?
Many systems remain active for up to 20mins after the ignition is switched off and some motors and windings can give out a high voltage if they are disconnected when active that can damage electronics.
If you follow the hard reset guide in the Wiki section you cant go wrong most likely disconnecting the battery with the system still active has confused the system, I would follow the guide and see what happens.

Strange, I just tried the spare key and worked fine. But it’s an old bartered one. The newest one is the faulty one. I’m wondering wether I’ve disconnected the battery while it was in the ignition maybe but I’m 99.9% sure I would do that.

Or maybe the battery is a dud

Or maybe dropped the key and fractured a solder maybe

I’ll buy a new fob and swap the chips and reprogram them all again

Thanks again for the help. This website is a god send
