Slipped out of drive
Driving today and the car slipped out of Drive a few seconds after pulling off, After getting home and having a good look at it it Doesn’t seem to engage into drive as good as the other gears and doesn’t take much to move it out It doesn’t seem to be locking into drive properly! Any suggestions appreciated

Easy job, spray liberally with WD40 to ease it up, takes 5 mins, and that'll see you through until you might change it. The washer rust easy, causing the problem.2022 BMW i4 M50. Bought Oct 2022. 10,200 miles and counting...
