spare wheel carrier
Where have people got their spare wheel carrier for the back from? I cant find any

In the UK Devon 4x4 & Terra Firma do them I believe.

Although they are advertising them, they haven't any or for the forseeable. I've been after one for a while since a executive suit incident.

I have a FRONT RUNNER but don't know if they are available over there from their agents. I have been well pleased with this unit and it has been on extensive trips to Bots and Caprivi as well as around South Africa and is still 'firm' and 'secure'.......... can recommend it. This unit was purchased some 3 years ago - don't know if their design has altered any!Life always good with a Landy

I'd be interested in hearing where you finally source one from. I've been hoping that Pro-Speed get on and make one but that doesn't appear any time soon. I got the run-around on trying to order a Front Runner 80l aux tank. The guy I spoke to mentioned some issue with the UK importers changing?? After several deadlines had been missed he offered up an April date for the tank (which I ordered at the start of the year), so I cancelled my order. Don't know if it's worth talking to whoever the European importers are as he said the UK guys get them via them? Above could all be bs but it was just what I was told.D3 SE with Hankook MT 275/65/R18, IID BT Tool, ProSpeed rock/tree sliders + compressor guard, RLD sump guard & winch tray + 13,000lb hidden winch, Gearbox guard, Frontrunner 80l aux tank with fuel gauge, V8 brake upgrade, Traxide USI-160 dual battery system, Frontrunner ladder, custom boot storage, Lazer LED driving lights, de-cat exhaust, Aftermarket Oro TPMS, i7 Mac Mini touch screen install (running Windows 10) mirrored on rear screens.

right, rang a few people...
No one has any anywhere. German company will ship them in 4 weeks at a cost of around £1700, and ARB will do similar of a similar price. (dont think the person was expecting me to laugh down the phone to them when they told me the price haha)
Allmakes/terrafirma will have some in 3 weeks for £470 delivered... still a lot but maybe...

I now have a swing away spare wheel carrier - made by Big Country - it's used but 'new to me'. I will post some pictures of the fitting process - its heavy!!
I will now be able to carry my 265/70 R17 spare.

If so it's my old one and it is heavy but easy to fit - me and my young lad fitted it over a lEast a oneeekend.
Changed it for a Rasta one.I see no ships........

Has anyone fitted or seen the Bearmach swing away spare wheel carrier
I like the look of the Terrafirma but its still not available and no one seems to have a Big Country in stock
Can anyone come up with a suggestion please - not the Australian one its too expensive.
I need to fit one urgently as I have a sliding floor on which I carry a mobility scooter plus tow a caravan
If I needed to get to the spare when towing it would be a major operation - unhitch the caravan, swing out the scooter on its hoist, remove the sliding floor then flip up the back seats to get to the spare wheel winding nut
