Start up Roar , How can I check my Fan is operating ?

Hi All , As a previous post and not long had the D4 and soon after finding out the wires to the viscous fan and connector had been ripped out (possibly left off after maintenance) and caught in the fan, Now they are replaced on start up I’m not getting the usual roar sound , Does this happen only on cold mornings? and obviously when needed when hot but haven’t sat In enough traffic stationary long enough yet to see if it kicks in when hot , Trying to remember from my last 2 D3s but it’s been a while Whistle, Is there a way to test it’s working as it should apart from getting it hot stationary or should I have Re set anything when it was reconnected? Any help appreciated

Pressing the climate panel eco button should make the engine fan make a minor change in speed

Thanks Pete , Will give it a try , I think it probably kicked in yesterday when pulling of from a start up but the car wasn’t really cold as I’d left about an hour at most and in this heat, Will see how it goes today
