Storage behind middle row seats?
I currently have a box full of useful stuff in the boot of my 7 seater; tow ropes, shackles, first aid kit, tyre inflator, hi-viz.
It's bit in the way, so does any know of a solution to storing stuff behind the middle row seats and just under the front of the third row seats when they are folded flat which they usually are. It's a space that runs the width of the car and would take a sort of cylindrical bag about 35cm diameter (although I haven't measured it exactly).

I've filled that space with a towing-pole, several coils of rope, jump-leads and other stuff ... easier as individual items than in a bag , I'd suggest.
One of the ropes is longer and a couple of loops of it lie under the right-hand 3rd row seat.
Fan spanners are in the gap at back of 3rd row, next to spare wheel winch - adapted to be released without moving the seats.
Nearside rear cubby hole contains plastic diesel can, and above that several wiper blades are accessible on the wheel arch.
That gap also houses the 60cm giant screwdriver that gets used to unclipped the bottom of front grille without any palaver .

I'm in agreement that the space below/behind the second row seats looks useful, but I found that the diagonal braces on the seat supports make it quite difficult to use in practice.
I've got jack, jack-handle, wheel chocks (x4), 12v air pump, warning triangle and box of spare fuses in the nearside cubby and ctek charger, L/R toolkit, wheel-winch handle and L/R wheel chocks in the off-side cubby. But that leaves me with a 762 ammo box containing my socket set, a general tool box, an electrical toolbox and my Noco Boost jump starter looking for a home.
I initially put all this below/behind the second row seats and it fitted really well, but once everything had shaken into its settled position after driving, I found it quite difficult to get anything back out and at one point I could neither move the boxes nor lift the seats, so it's all lived in the boot ever since.

Take out the preformed tool tray in the boot, It's not going to be massive but you'll be surprised how much more you can stuff into that otherwise wasted space. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

The LR supplied umbrella is designed to clip in that space.. most useful when waiting for recovery services I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
