There's a reservoir in front of the compressor next to the left hand chassis rail

With reference to the compressor, what preasure and what volume does it do, been thinking about when warrenty ends mooving it into the engine bay and taking its air feed from the engine air filter, also investergate maybe a better compressor that can handle inflateing tires etc.
What do others think of this Question

Oh the posibiliteys in 8 months time Mr. Green

...thought mine

had a leak some months ago....
used an ultrasonic leak detector from work & over a period of days checked around to "listen" for leaks...none found - the device used can spot minute leaks over the noise of engine, compressor etc.
The actual problem I thought I had (suspension sinking) went away

But if you have a leak this is one way to find it....
US detectors arent low cost & am surprised the dealers don't have them
 BREXIT - done properly.

I don't think it should sink at all. Mine doesn't.

Does it return to normal height after starting the engine? if it does then it can't be self-levelling thats causing it to lower.
Yes it can - because it can't level upwards due to the compressor not running the only way it can go is down, the software will seek to acheive the best level it can given the sensor readings. Changes in air density (due to temperature) will cause the suspension to progressively drop over a few days hence the gradual lowering - as long as it lifts when you start the engine and one corner isn't lower than the others I can't see it as being an issue

Makes sense to me - it never looks lopsided after a few days, just settled down.

It rises straight back up when the engine is started. The car IS parked on a 'very slight' slope.

It actually scares the (remaining) dog quite effectively of an evening when she's pottering around in the dark - the clicking/whirring etc sends her scurrying to the safety of the conservatory Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

If you park it front facing the garage door, does the front sink and the rear stay up?

I have an early build car with 4 trips specifically back to the dealer this year for sinking air suspension. On mine after 2 nights its down on its bump stops, I have a feeling this got worse over time. I have had 2 balance valves, a diff change and a front air spring changed in pursuit of the leak. Looks like they have it fixed now.

seriously....just how are they detecting the actual leak.....in pneumatic system the only real way these days is Ultrasonic - its the industry standard way.....but there again others may jest or know better...what the hell the dealer is only Censored about with an expensive complex piece of kit.....your piece of kit.
 BREXIT - done properly.
