Tesco Warranty

Just logged onto the tesco warranty site and they will no longer cover any car

Existing customers not effected

Does anyone know why this is?

Also where do we all go now,Has anyone had good experiences with any other companys?

AA,RAC, and Slimer found CSMA (if you qualify)

Do the AA & RAC pay up aswell as other members said tesco did?

If you use AA or RAC do you need to use there assistance package?

Got to be honest Matt, when my warrenty ran out I looked initially at RAC and AA, got listened to the good feedback from Tesco, and am currently with them. Canny remember much about the others, so will be in the same boat as you are now come April/May next year

There was another thread about this not long ago.

http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic40191.html

After all the work you've done I'm suprised you'd bother with a warranty! Shocked

Laughing Yeah, thinking about it....in your case third party warranty is probably a bad idea! If not because you seem more then capable of covering most issues yourself then because most third party warranties seem to have clauses in their small print about the vehicles previous maintenance history and might use this as a way out of paying any claim on your particular vehicle?

Phew! You had me worried there for a sec. I don't have anything like your abilities or facilities (heck even got the rear latch fixed by the dealer) and am not covered by warranty. I still sleep at night (well small children excepted).

Did consider the Tesco warranty at the time as the mileage would've snuck in. But looking at what you paid and subsequently got I didn't think it was worth it. Bit that did it for me was that it was capped at £3000.
