Congrats.
If you start noticing the oil light takes longer to go out, that’s a sign it really needs the long bolt under the oil pump. The second bolt on the drivers side is important
Red coolant replaced orange and is compatible.
After all your matrix flushing you have just been adding just water then maybe you want to drain and put all new in (assuming you aren’t gonna do a water pump change ) or rear cambelt. Personally I would quit changing things while your ahead

Out of interest, could I have added a length of battery cable to the sm copper attachment?
I have got a spare length for an isolator switch I was going to make and was thinking it would have made it easier next time if the cable was longer and the connector more compact and slim. I may rewire it if so as the bolt isn’t quite tight yet.Disco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

Great news, Well done.
Halfords stock a range of antifreezes / coolants. All expensive. Alternatives fillings stations or some supermarkets.
Don't get hung up on colour. It is at the whim of the manufacturer not an industry standard. Type / Spec is what counts.
In emergency, (low coolant warning), better to add water than run low. BUT this stuff is essential to prevent corrosion, particularly of sensors, not just to prevent freezing. So measure amount of water used, (half a milk bottle or what ever), and either replace that amount with a mix of stronger than normal concentration. (90/10 if you cannot reuse some of the removed fluid). If you introduce water you will not be able to recover the right concentration with ready diluted antifreeze.
Once you and your bank balance have recovered I would do the water pump. Much less awkward than what you have mastered.
Hope you enjoy your D3.

So far driving fine!
I’ve overfilled the oil i think.. it’s over the 4th oval thing but not past the last circular thing. If that makes sense?

Hi all
Am I being paranoid, or can the tension of the timing belt affect mpg?
I don’t know wether it’s me imagining it or wether the car is consuming more fuel. Even though the gauge says better than it used to, it feels like the car is guzzling!!!Disco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

No.
If you get the belt a tooth out (or was a tooth out before), it can give less power
But we saw your videos and it looked fine
It’s probably that heavy winch you fitted causing low mpg

Disconnecting the battery will reset all of your ECU learned values for the engine and gearbox.
When you start driving again the base values will be used until the ECU's learn new values.Andrew
