D3 .. Historic values ?? any ideas...

As some of you know I have had a few issues come to light this week Shocked my D3 was clocked in 2009... Big Cry

It would help if I knew if a D3 TDV6 2006 was valued at 9.900 in May 2013 112k mileage....

What it would be worth with 162k mileage .... Question Question

Tried to find out myself on the old interweb but finding it impossible Big Cry

Thanks in advance for those knowlegeable ones ... Thumbs Up D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.

It's a difficult one but if you know a friendly car dealer he may have an old book from that time to match the price. Auctions are also a good guide for you and would be able to cross reference it.

Use CAP to find out the value now on 162k miles. Disco 3 HSE

May not help, but how about valuing it now with the two differing mileage....make sure you add on anything you've added since. Then at least you get a difference at today's prices, you can then look at what you paid and work out what you should have paid......percentage difference in today's prices and use this for the historic prices.

Example (made up prices)
162k miles today = £9,000
112 k miles today = £10,000

Diff = £1000 or 10%

You paid £14,000 (made up price), but if mileage was correct, should have paid £12,600

Did any of that make sense? Shocked Iggy/Ieuan

If you are lucky it's picked up by the way back machine aka internet archive.

Or you could try ringing CAP/blackbook. They are more interested in protecting today's prices.

After sorting a few things that took some attention ... back on the clocking issue and trying to find the real value in 2013 of my D3 ... Banging Head

Albal ... emailed and phoned CAP/Blackbook etc., thanks for the tip Thumbs Up

They confirmed you can obtain historic values but you need to be in the 'trade' to obtain them ... Rolling Eyes

Any ideas or friends on the trade ... Question

My D3 was a HSE, manufactured in june2006. In June 2012, it had done 150k miles, excellent condition all round, mechanically excellent, valued at £11k by the insurance assessor Duncan

Mikey ... CDS managed to get the mileage from the old girl today Whistle

Terrain Response Module records km = 278,368
converted to miles = 172,970

odometer = 122,012

50,958 miles less.... If you could get the value at 51k less I'd appreciate it (as at 5/13) Thumbs Up D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
