Warranty Direct....I'm impressed...

I've noticed a bit of a change in the front end of my car over the last couple of months...an increase in road noise,a tendency to tramline, minor potholes and bumps throwing it offline and the steering less positive and direct than before.
Got Disco Mikey to have a quick drive,as he was attending to a friends sick FFRR not far from me,and he diagnosed worn lower wishbones.
Now,considering the car has "only" covered 55k,is less than 4 years old and the D4 wears the uprated version from the RRS,it hadn't crossed my mind......
Anyway a quick call to a very pleasant and helpful "engineer" at Warranty Direct, followed by a quick run-down of the symptoms and it's booked in to have the lower wishbones replaced on Tuesday.
I have the "Luxury Care" package which includes "wear and tear" and "premature wear" but didn't expect it to be quite as easy....
Very painless so far.....

I'm on the very lowest cover due to age & mileage, it still covers wear & tear but obviously on a shorter list of parts. That's the reason I wouldn't go with anyone else if I had a D4 coming out of warranty, no instant w&t get out of jail free card for the warranty co. Thumbs Up

It helps with WD that you have cover from younger & lower mileage, then they are happy renewing up to 160k miles and 12 years (I think). They don't like insuring older & high miles car straight off.

As I said Euan, it would be hard to wriggle out of this claim, it's when it's not as straight forward the real test starts!
