D3 parking module differences
Hi is anyone able to tell me the difference between the d3 parking modules? As I've finally got around to seeing why mine don't work and the module is missing. So I'm unsure which one to order?
Thanks in advance for any help

hi
have u got front and rear sensors
if it's just the back the ecu box is located behind the passenger side boot locker
don't know if this pic helps at all , shows the parking module and also the speaker
i'm not sure if there's separate modules , one for the front and one for the rear , hopefully someone will be along to vierify that for u
wonder why ur module is missing ?
assume the parking modules are vin related

Thanks for gstuart, that's exactly what I'd been after but hadn't been able to find. I will check which one I need when I'm home and get t ordered.
Thanks again

There was a mod to do with when the fronts got enabled. (e.g MPH or such like)
Personally after reading the TSB I prefered the earlier functionality, so you could go with either

On the later ones, if you just drive straight into a space, the front sensors won't be on.
FROM TSB
Cause: The current system strategy means that the front parking sensors will operate when a forward
gear is selected following reverse. Sensor operation is canceled when the vehicle speed is above 10mph
(16kph) but will operate again if the speed drops below 10mph (16kph). This can give instances of
sensor warnings when the vehicle stops at a junction and another vehicle or pedestrian passes in front
of the vehicle, resulting in the above complaint. This is not a fault with the parking system, however, an
alternative system strategy is available so that the system operation is canceled when the vehicle speed
is above 10mph (16kph) and will not operate again until the vehicle speed is below 10mph (16kph) and
the fascia front parking aid switch is selected (or until a forward gear is selected following reverse gear
selection during parking).
Action: On a customer concern basis only regarding the above, refer to the Service Procedure detailed
in this bulletin to renew the parking
