Speedometer change from KM/H to MPH disco 3
Hi all,
I have now decided to import my Disco 3 back from South Africa now I have realised that it will not have to go through an IVA as its over 10 years old. It therefore, as I understand, will only have to go through an MOT.
The only failure point will be the speedometer which in South African variant only has KM/H on the speedo. Has anyone ever changed out the speedometer dial/mechanism of the instrument cluster (I am happy with KM/H on the odometer)? Worst case I do have a Nanocom but would only look at changing the cluster as a last resort.
Any input on this would be appreciated...Owning a Discovery 3 is like dating a model.. a firm body and shape, wow.. the ride is fantastic > for this your wallet can take a pounding and you worry about being deflated at any time...

Can't you change it through the settings on the indicator stalk ?

That would change the odometer. No digital second speedometer of the D3 so just the old fashioned dial.

There is a company here in Ireland that change the dials. Well they do it in reverse here as a lot of Secondhand UK cars are imported into Ireland. So they change the dial from miles to KM. I'll see if I can find them.
