My EPB is still misbehaving.
The garage has replaced the parking brake shoes and the EPB module ( under warranty)
I still get the odd fault that the brake will not release by pressing the button, but will when driving off.
I'll get the message:
U2002-01 (A8) Switch general electrical failure - General failure information - general electrical failure
Could this possible be the release switch?

good bet is to replace the switch as it sounds faulty
