Landmark Question
I have been looking to upgrade to a late model D4 and have been looking at the Landmark model. On the Land Rover website there are quite a few second hand Landmarks for sale some say they have the 380w Merridian fitted and some say they have the 825w Merridian stereo. I was lead to believe all Landmarks have the 825w is this true? Is the 825w worth having?

I've been given conflicting information on that one as well. It's probably worth being careful, as I suspect some Landmarks came with the lesser system and some with the more powerful. You can always tell the better system, as the speakers on the inside of the boot pillars have substantial silver rings around the grilles.
I've had 380w in an HSE and 825w in my current HSE Lux; the 380w is excellent and wants for nothing... until you try the 825w version! If you want to listen to a DVD in the car, then the 825W system provides proper, cinema quality, sound, with plenty of bass. It's instantly noticeable and it's like sitting inside a pair of decent headphones

They both have the rear (D pillar) speakers, but only the 825w system has the chrome ring around the (much beefier) speaker.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

According to the brochure the Meridian 825w system and the 380w version were both standard in the Landmark, so even the brochure can't decide what should be fitted
The 825w system was a £1250 cost option in the GraphiteCheers Ian

I believe that the 825w system has the wording 'Meridian Surround' on the front door speakers whereas the 380w system only has 'Meridian'
You and me both HD, hoped the IID Tool might reveal something but to now avail.

I enquired about a Landmark model today and was told it has the Meridian surround. As already stated the brochure does say the Landmark has it.

My Landmark has the same audio as Hairy Dan's above and the only options specified were the paint, tow pack and cubby fridge.
It is fine but I cannot say it is signifcantly better than the non surround system in my 2012 HSE. Perhaps I am not using it right but I personally wouldn't pay a big premium for it.2016 D4 Landmark - Waitomo/Ebony

Well I have done the deed today on a 66 plate Indus silver Landmark from Rybrook Landrover Huddersfield, picking it up next week. I did ask if it had been a former Landrover experience car but was assured by the salesman it was an ex Landrover management car.
