| Discovery 4.5 Mirror not folding out - please help! |

Hi all,
so I have developed a fault in the discovery where the discovery 4.5 mirror folds in but struggles to fold out, I hear the motor whining for longer than it should when its attempting to fold out but nothing really happens, it moves for a split second but nothing happens. does anyone know how i could fix it? I've opened the entire mirror and had a look at the folding motor but i cant see to open it, its somehow attached together?
any help is appreciated!

have you tried a good squirt of silican based lubricant into the gap between the mirror and the arm ? that quite often sorts it as its a common problem on D4 and Freelander 2 as well 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

thanks, i removed the motor and sprayed it, hoping it works once fitted back

sadly no luck,
i have ordered a new fold in motor now

just to give an update, i received the part from aliexpress! Fitted it and it all works perfectly now!
