Where are the m12 tie rod end nuts that are supposed to be torque checked during a service. I wonder if they ever get done ?? But thought I would check them after 225000 miles.
Thanks in advance

There are only two nuts on a tie rod. One on the ball joint (which pulls it up onto the taper) which is tightened to 70 nm and then one on the shaft which is tightened to 55 nm

I am sure that there are only tie rod ends on the front end. There is a 'toe' rod on the rear end, so if its the tie rods you are talking about it's the front.

Sorry for late reply
Says tie rods on the maintenance sheet, but I wonder if they mean the rear ones to stop them coming loose and snapping. Many thanks for replying
