Positive battery terminal loose.
not causing a problem at the moment but my positive battery connection is loose.
the nut is as tight as I can get it, so the two half's of the terminal have come together and have not tightened down on the battery terminal.
as you can see from photo 27.7 Amps and still only 0.004 volts across the connection, so its working but for how long.
is it the cable or the battery terminal that's at fault here.

Take the clamp off the battery
Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the slot between the two halves and open it out then retighten, should be good

I had the exact same problem with a brand new battery last year - the clamp would not close-up tight enough.
I shimmed it with a thin slice of aluminium (wrapped it around once on the diameter the same height as the post) and tightened it up and it has been fine ever since.

Has the cable been changed, positive and negative terminals are different diameters, and so are the clamps.2011 Discovery 4 Commercial SDV6 (Gone)

Battery terminals should only be done up to about 6Nm, any more and they will distort the clamp and terminal. It also makes a difference if they're tightened when the battery is hot or cold. Lead is a soft metal and deforms easily. Also the clamp is made of a soft material and that, while not as soft as lead, will also deform.
